"Masti Bhara Sama Hai (Turbotito & Ragz Rework)" is a dubby and dreamy balearic rework of a song by Bhangra icon Mangal Singh and taken from his 1984 accidental Hindi AOR/yacht rock solo album 'O Mere Sanam'. Singh, together with his friend Amarjit Sidhu formed the band Chirag Pehchan – one of the foundational bands of the 80s UK bhangra scene.
This is the first single from Naya Beat Records' forthcoming compilation album 'Naya Beat Volume 1: South Asian Dance and Electronic Music 1983-1992'. Out on June 25th!

Warm melancholic soul for campfires and sunsets. I can see this ep appealing to a mixed bag of musical aficionados from the ibizan sunset worshippers to the Americana yaght rock festival dwellers. Absolutely stunning harmonies and production. I can't wait to play this out and also hear other djs use it to soundtrack the summer. marc owens
